invitano artisti internazionali per il secondo Simposio ed ArtHappening.
Ci rivolgiamo ad artisti contemporanei internazionali per far interagire gli stessi con il
paese di Vellano,
con i materiali della zona, l'ambiente e la popolazione locale :
L'ARTE IN TUTTE LE SUE FORME !
pittura - scultura - installazioni - fotografia - cinema - video
web - musica - performance - teatro - letteratura - poesia
Visione, gestione, cambiamento e rivalutazione del paese di Vellano tramite il rapporto
artistico
eseguire ricerche attraverso l'arte e tramite comunicazione sull`opera d'arte
scambio di lavori ed esperienze tra artisti toscani ed internazionali
Visitatori ed artisti discuteranno i lavori artistici in corso.
Mostra - Performances il 4/5 e 11/12 Settembre
È previsto una documentazione della mostra

VELLANO - TOSCANA
» un borgo medioevale a 600 mt s.l.m. con 600 abitanti, è il capoluogo dei dieci
castelli sulle colline di Pescia (PT)
tra Firenze e Lucca. Nel corso di oltre mille anni, Vellano ed i dieci castelli hanno
mantenuto invariata la loro
architettura medioevale unica ed originale.
La tradizione è di stampo contadino-artigianale e si basa su olio, vino, castagne, baco
da seta (ora in disuso),
legname pregiato e tutto ciò che viene prodotto in funzione del fiume Pescia: carta
(attività risalente al 13. Secolo),
metallurgia, cuoio. Notevole la floricultura conosciuta in ogni parte del mondo e le cave
di pietra serena.
Tutti questi aspetti, dall’architettura ai singoli mestieri hanno su questo
territorio le loro particolari ed uniche realizzazioni,
contribuendo a conservare i segreti professionali tramandati attraverso i secoli sino ad
oggi.
Vellano ed i dieci castelli si possono vantare della loro speciale ed unica posizione l'un
l'altra prospiciente sulla vallata
comunicando tra loro sia tramite l’ascolto che la visione e formando tra esse un
grande corpo spontaneo.
Purtroppo, dagli anni 50 in poi spariscono le tradizioni locali di comunicazione
(canti in ottava rima, stornelli, rispetti, stramotti ecc.)
Da ciò l’intenzione per un progetto mirato artisticamente per giungere a rianimare
queste tradizioni in modo totalmente
nuovo e diverso. E perciò l'invito a tutte le categorie di artisti ci pare qui basilare.
Artisti, che usano carta, legno, acqua, pietra, terra, metallo, tessuti, suoni, toni,
architettura, affreschi e quant'altro,
sono invitati a risvegliare le vecchie tradizioni in chiave moderna.
Gli artisti partecipanti possono contare sul sostegno individuale da parte
dell'organizzazione per quanto riguarda il
materiale da usare e la mediazione ed integrazione agli usi e costumi locali.

Die Künstlervereinigung Val di Nievole und ZEROTRE - movimento per l'arte effimera

laden erneut internationale Künstler zu einem Symposium und ArtHappening in die TOSKANA -
ITALIEN ein.
Ein kleines mittelalterliches Dorf wird kurzzeitig zum FREILICHT-
ATELIER-THEATER-AUSSTELLUNGSORT
für Künstler aller Menschenländer.

Forschung durch Kunst und Kommunikation über Kunstwerke
Interaktion zwischen toskanischen und internationalen Künstlern und der Bevölkerung von
Vellano
Während der Veranstaltung sind Besucher und Künstler eingeladen, über die entstehenden
Arbeiten zu kommunizieren.
Eine Dokumentation ist vorgesehen

Unterstützt und gefördert wird VellanoArte durch die Bevölkerung,
die örtlichen Vereine CIRCOLO ARCI - PROLOCO,

VELLANO - TOSKANA - ITALIEN
Vellano (600 m ü. M., 600 Einwohner) ist das grösste von 10 Castella im Val di Nievole,
zwischen Pisa und Florenz nahe Lucca in der Provinz Pistoia gelegen. Der Hauptort heisst
Pescia.
Die tausend Jahre alten Dörfchen sind unverändert erhalten in ihrer einzigartigen
mittelalterlichen Architektur.
Die regionalen landwirtschaftlichen Produkte wie Olivenöl, Wein, Esskastanien,
Holz sowie auch Papier- und Seidenproduktion (seit dem 15. Jahrhundert),
Stein- und Metallbearbeitung, Lederherstellung und Blumenzucht (seit den 50 ger Jahren),
sind traditionell kulturprägend für die Region.
Künstler, die völlig neu und anders mit < Materialien des Ortes > wie
Papier, Holz, Wasser, Stein, Erde, Metall, Klängen, Tönen, Sprache,
Farben, Spuren, Ritzungen, Räumen, Architektur
forschen und finden wollen, sind benvenuti und werden vor Ort bei Bedarf individuell
unterstützt.

VELLANO di PESCIA TUSCANY
Vellano , a hilltop village ( 600 msl ) with 600 inhabitants , the largest of the “
10 castella “
in the valley of Nievole , located between Pisa and Florence , province of Pistoia , near
Pescia.
These villages have managed to maintain their typical medieval architecture for over 1000
years.
The regional agricultural products, olive oil, wine, chestnuts, wood and stone as well as
paper manufacturing, metal work, leather production and famous flower industry
has shaped the culture of the area around Vellano .
Artists who work in paper, wood, water, stone, earth, metal, sounds, architecture, murals
will find the environment particularly inviting and challenging and will be individually
assisted on the spot.
