(1992- 1995)

 

The Group A.R.F. (Art Research Florence) had its first exhibition in October 1992 at the Theatre of Rosignano Solvay (Leghorn). 

It exhibited paintings, sculptures and installations by the three members: the painters  Dino Castelvecchi, Alberto Morelli and the sculptor Ivano Vitali. The artists had met each other while visiting Florentine cultural centres such as the gallery "AperA" and Studio "IL Moro" etc.

All of them were interested in experimenting new materials and in finding new visual languages. Thus they decided to put on exhibitions in order to communicate not only among themselves but also with the Florentine,Tuscan and Italian cultural milieu.

In 1994 a fourth artist joined the group, the sculptor Maurizio Mauri.

On different occasions art critics wrote presenting the group: among them Dino Carlesi, Dino Pasquali and Andrea B. Del Guercio.
